Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), is pleased to announce the launching of the Facilitating Career Development (FCD) Training Program, from the internationally reputed National Career Development Association (NCDA), offered in an initiative that is the first of its kind in Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

Delivered by NCDA-qualified trainers over the course of four months, the FCD training follows an international, culturally adaptable program, while applying hands-on and interactive teaching methods suitable for a variety of work settings. Through a diversified, active learning approach, the FCD Training Program offers participants a comprehensive and intensive instruction in the main areas of career development. Moreover, the program provides an in-depth understanding and knowledge in 12 key career development competencies. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be eligible to apply for two internationally recognized credentials, namely:

  • Certified Professional Services Provider Certification (CCSP), from NCDA;
  • Global Professional Development Facilitator Certificate (G-CDF), from the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE).

Program graduates can work in various career development areas, such as working as a career group facilitator, job search coach, career resource center coordinator, career coach, career development manager, career information and labor market expert, Human Resources career development coordinator, recruitment specialist or workforce development officer.

The training will be provided virtually in English, from January 10, 2022, until April 25, 2022.
