Qatar Career Development Center participates in health forum

Members of Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC) have participated in a health forum organized by the Hamad Medical Corporation. The forum entitled “Promoting Student health: An Investment in the Future” took place on February 27-28, 2017 at the Ruqaya Independent Preparatory School for Girls.

The forum aims to raise health awareness and reduce behavioral risks factors among youth by providing support for students on the psychological, social and cultural level and equipping them with the necessary skills to lead a healthy life.

QCDC representatives showcased a variety of activities and initiatives that the center has undertaken to bolster positive communication between students and their community.

The center’s representatives also familiarized youth with the different academic disciplines in the healthcare industry including medicine, nursing and pharmacy among other fields of study leading to a supply of skilled and educated labor.
