My Career- My Future Winter Edition

8:30 am - 12:00 pm Multaqa, Education City

Overview:

Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), founded by Qatar Foundation (QF), is organizing a special Winter Edition of its flagship job-shadowing program My Career – My Future, taking place from 28 December 2025 to 1 January 2026 at Multaqa, Education City.

The Winter Edition is delivered in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Labour, reflecting a shared national commitment to strengthening youth career readiness and supporting the development of Qatar’s future workforce.

Building on the strong impact of previous editions, this focused Winter Edition offers participating students a practical opportunity to experience real work environments, with a particular emphasis on the Financial Services sector, alongside selected organizations from Healthcare, Logistics, Manufacturing, Information Technology and Digital Services, and Construction.

Program Objectives

The Winter Edition reinforces QCDC’s broader mission to deliver early, experiential, and structured career development interventions that support Qatar’s human capital goals and align with Qatar National Vision 2030, by:

  • Exposing them to real workplace environments across key economic sectors.
  • Helping them understand the nature of different professions and career pathways.
  • Developing early career awareness, responsibility, and self-confidence.
  • Supporting informed academic and career decision-making.

Through direct job shadowing, students gain first-hand insight into professional roles, workplace culture, required skills, and future opportunities, bridging the gap between classroom learning and the realities of the labor market.

Program Agenda

The Winter Edition will be held exclusively in Arabic over five days from 28 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, from 8:30am – 12pm, following a structured, immersive format:

Opening Ceremony and Briefing (Day 1):

  • Participants gather at Multaqa for an orientation session introducing program objectives, workplace expectations, and professional conduct.

Job Shadowing Experience (Days 2-5)

  • Students are hosted by participating organizations, where they observe daily operations, engage with professionals, and experience real workplace settings aligned with their assigned sector.

All students who successfully complete the program will receive a participation certificate outlining the number of work hours they have completed at the participating organizations.
