Overview
Get Ready is a youth-focused career guidance and readiness development program jointly organized by Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), founded by Qatar Foundation (QF), and the Ministry of Sports and Youth (MoSY). Now in its third edition, the program serves as a vital bridge between high school and higher education, ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and awareness needed to navigate this critical transition successfully.
Held from 14 to 18 September 2025 at Multaqa (Education City Student Center), Get Ready empowers high school students with the academic and career guidance necessary to select university majors and future career paths that align with their strengths, interests, and the evolving needs of Qatar’s labor market.
By integrating self-exploration, practical training, and exposure to higher education opportunities, the program supports the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy (NDS3) 2024–2030, which emphasize preparing a skilled, future-ready workforce capable of driving the nation’s development.
