Academic pathways are expanding, occupations and skills are evolving, and questions about the future are emerging earlier than ever in a student’s educational journey.
Against this changing landscape, career counselors need more than information. They need the knowledge, tools, and professional networks that enable them to turn information into effective guidance tailored to each student and every stage of their journey.
That is why Career Counselors Hub returns to bring Qatar’s career guidance and development community together for two days of learning, training, dialogue, and networking; strengthening practitioners’ capabilities and contributing to higher-quality academic and career guidance for students.
Be part of Qatar’s career counseling community
Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), founded by Qatar Foundation (QF), organizes the annual Career Counselors Hub in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, U.S. Embassy Doha, and Qatar Foundation Higher Education.
Bringing together national, educational, and international expertise, this partnership creates an integrated professional experience that supports counselors and equips them to provide more effective guidance to students.
Career Counselors Hub is designed for professionals across the ecosystem supporting students’ academic and career decisions, including career and academic counselors, career guidance and development practitioners in schools and educational institutions, administrators, and specialists involved in supporting students’ educational pathways and transitions into higher education and beyond.
A Conversation About the Future of Career Guidance
An extended debate exploring the implementation of career guidance across all levels of education, and what this requires in terms of coordinated roles and sustained support throughout a student’s educational journey.
Training That Strengthens Practice
Specialized training sessions and workshops in Arabic and English, designed to equip counselors with practical knowledge and tools they can apply in their day-to-day work.
Knowledge, Straight from the Source
Opportunities to engage directly with experts, specialists, and representatives from organizations working across higher education, career guidance, and career development.
A Stronger Professional Network
A space for counselors and practitioners from schools and institutions across Qatar to exchange experiences and ideas and build professional relationships that extend well beyond the Hub.
Direct Access to Higher Education Opportunities
Meet universities, educational institutions, and relevant organizations to learn more about the opportunities, pathways, and services counselors can share directly with their students.
Day 1 | 1 September
Career Counselors Hub 2026 opens with welcome remarks from the organizing partners, followed by a debate on implementing career guidance across all levels of education, inviting participants to consider how a more integrated and sustainable guidance experience can be built around the student.
The day then moves from dialogue to practice through a program of training sessions and workshops in Arabic and English, alongside opportunities for participants to connect and exchange professional experiences.

Day 2 | 2 September
The second day takes a deeper dive into the practical side of the Hub, with an additional program of specialized training sessions and workshops in Arabic and English.
The networking exhibition will also continue, giving counselors another opportunity to engage directly with participating organizations and learn more about the programs, opportunities, and services available to their students.
Day two will also give participants the opportunity to meet universities, institutions, and participating organizations at the Hub’s accompanying networking exhibition.
Doha Counselors Day 2026, organized by Education City universities in collaboration with partners, will also take place during day two, creating a direct channel between school counselors and university admissions professionals. It brings counselors together with admissions professionals to exchange knowledge and experience and explore ways to help students better understand their options and prepare for the transition to university.
