Overview
Confronted with the outbreak of the coronavirus and its repercussions on the local and global education industry, Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC) has announced the launch of its Virtual Career Advising Services to support students with their career development, both during and after the pandemic.
QCDC’s latest digital initiative enables students to directly book appointments to receive personalized career guidance services by an advisor and gain access to other dedicated resources going forward.
Students can book one career advising session at a time, while follow-up sessions can be scheduled later, if necessary. Appointments are 30 minutes each and will be offered in both Arabic and English.
Objectives
Through this initiative, QCDC aims to support students’ career development and to continue to expand and build upon the center’s reach.
Students who book a session will receive free professional support to help them determine their educational and career paths and follow best practices when applying for a job or writing a resume and cover letter, among other employment-related topics.
